The Youtube Dream - Part 1

Posted on 12th Aug 2020

Hello nurds,

It's been sometime since the last blog post. I've been working hard in my spare time to start this YouTube channel and as life goes on, it's a very tedious process. At the start of this journey, I thought it would be a walk in the park, now I realise it's anything but. There comes a fine line between making content and preparing to make content. In a world with any number of content creators, there's a difference between quality and quantity. I feel that I should focus on the finer details of the content I'm trying to create before the actual production of it.

There's no point it endlessly making videos if there's no meaning and effor put into it. And that's why my goal is to have most things ready before I begin. With that being said, I've been lately working on building up my Twitch channel before my Youtube channel, just because I find it's a much easier platform to begin with, and I've had previous streaming experience.

Working on new visual graphics for the channel has been a challenge, but I'm pleased with the results and how they've turned out. I'm contemplating how many more templates I would need, but there are a lot of final details to work out. Creating a music playlist for the background will be an extremely difficult task, since I'm not really in touch with music today. Using a Macbook to stream will also be an interesting experience, as there are a LOT of technical bugs to work out.

This should prove to be an interesting challenge, but hopefully one that pans out successfully.

I'll leave you with a short preview of what I've been working on. If you'd like, feel free to follow me on Twitch too :D Support would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys! - TJ
